Specialty Wall Finishes

At Visual Harmony Studios, we specialize in artisan plaster and custom wall finishes designed to bring depth, movement, and warmth into a space.
Our work includes Venetian plaster, Roman clay, lime wash, and microcement—each finish applied with care and attention to detail. We also create layered specialty finishes using metallics, patinas, glazes, and mica to add richness, texture, and subtle movement.

Venetian Plaster:

Smooth, layered, and richly dimensional, Venetian plaster brings depth and movement to a surface in a way that flat paint cannot. Depending on the application, finishes can range from soft matte and velvety to polished with a subtle sheen. Its hand-applied nature creates variation and character that shifts beautifully with changing light throughout the day.

Lime Wash:

Lime wash creates soft, atmospheric movement with layered tonal variation that gives walls a natural, lived-in feel. Its matte, mineral-based appearance adds warmth and depth while remaining subtle and understated. The finish shifts beautifully with changing light, creating a calm, organic character that works well in both modern and timeless interiors.

Roman Clay:

Roman clay is known for its soft matte finish and natural movement. Applied in thin layered passes, it creates a quiet texture with depth and variation that feels both modern and timeless. Its earthy character works beautifully in spaces that call for warmth, softness, and a more organic aesthetic.

Microcement:

Microcement is a seamless decorative surface that can be applied to walls, floors, fireplaces, showers, and countertops for a clean, modern look. Its smooth, continuous finish creates a refined architectural feel while still maintaining the depth and character of a hand-applied material. Durable and versatile, it works beautifully in both contemporary and organic spaces.
